Abel Delights

“Hang softly” chimes the bell bird,

as it sings its vibrant call.

Its soulful echoes find their way,

down where emeralds fall.

In shores of crystal waters,

these golden sands shall meet.

And I will swing on merriment,

exposed with just bare feet.

Once again freedom fills a weary soul,

and its delights are precious,

a rarity to behold.

So I will softly swing,

humming the bell bird’s song.

Knowing all things come and go,

a moment’s treasure for not too long.
